Three Zeta Eta

In heat transfer, to calculate free convection off a flat plate (which is extremely complex to model), you use tabulated values of zeta and eta and input them into an equation. At the end of a long lecture, an eta begins to look like a zeta, which looks like the number 3. Therefore, I created the three zeta eta silver pendant to represent the simultaneous seriousness and also humor that you have to have in order to survive as a mechanical engineer. I fabricated the pendant using CAD, wax printing, and silver investment casting. The hole for the jump ring was drilled post-casting and the finish is a mirror polish.
